Different Pfcs?

Do the R33 25DET S1 and S2's use the same factory ECU?

Searching the net I cant seem to find specific Power FC's for each series, or does one suit all?

As far as i found out, when looked around to buy one, they use the same P FC.

There seems to be conflicting information on this forum.

Some say S2's have the igniter in the ecu when others say the igniter is in the coils.

I know that the coil packs are different for each series and have difference connections.

series 2 ignitors are in the coils, not the ecu. you can run a series 1 with series 2 coils, and vice versa, provided you add or subtract the ignitor as required, and have the right wiring loom.

and they use the same pfc, but the stock ecu's are slightly different. most of the wires do the same thing, but each has 1 or 2 that the other doesn't. the pfc can use all of them.

the series 1 has a seperate ignitor pack, its on the back of the spark plug cover on its own bracket, the ecu shouldnt care if its in the coils or seperate, it still sends the same signal
