.......and what R32 models have the different types ?

Answer = none of the above.

NICS 'red top' RB20DET was used in early R31 Skylines and Z31 200ZR models. It was the 'first' RB20DET, but was replaced in about mid-1987 with the 'red top' ECCS type. R32's use the 'silver top' ECCS RB20DET....there was no NICS version. A31 Cefiro's also use a version of the 'silver top' RB20DET engine.

    • Got the yeshla-d trigger kit working on link ecu. On the RB25 Neo, you need to remove cam cover inserts, so that trigger mount plate sits flush with cam cover. Wiring, white on sensor goes to sensor ground ( black ) and black on sensor goes to trigger 1 ( red ).Then you need to make sure you gap it correctly with/without shim. I needed a shim as sensor was touching trigger wheel a bit. Smallest shim at 1.15 was too thick, so I filed it down to get 0.98mm, trigger scope showed good wave form. Used these settings to get started, then used timing gun to fine tune. I got an offset of 93.
    • You would probably do a lot better in a claims process then most people. When I called the insurance company, they were surprised I read the pds because according to them almost no one does lol.
    • Yeah it should be, but I wouldn't be surprised if the insurance company tries to pull some argument out of their ass to avoid paying you out.
    • On some cars like MR2 Turbos they're notorious for not letting the wastegate open far enough to avoid overboost, especially certain cheap downpipes. If adjusting "percentage cycle" fixes it then it's just an electronic control issue, not a hardware one.
    • Same.  It's depressing to say this but the skyline can go months on the charger between drives.
