Just wondered if anyone out there has tried running strait LPG on their RB25DET?

Little Johnny 10% is subsidising anyone that changes over. $2000 aparently.

I can think of a few benifits:

No emmision restrictions

$2000

cheaper fuel

LPG being cold will lower the temp of air going in

From memory i think LPG has a good octane rating aswell?????

I'm probably just dreaming but if anyone has done it, even looked into it i'd be interested to hear how it went.

Thanks

Aaron

Thanks for the links paulr33, just reading through them now.

Would be a good time to do a conversion, if it's viable, with the short bald bast.......... guy chipping in.

Oh, and by viable i mean won't sacrafice power

LPG has a higher octane then fuel (about 106ron from memory). from what i know about it, and talking to my mechanic, on a turbo car you can actually gain power (if you tune it right) over normal fuel. the problem is keeping it in tune. it is more affected by temp and altitude changes.
