Hessitating Power Steering?!

hi guys on the way home from a mates house just notice that wen i turned a corner into my street the power steering was hessitating and pulling back and letting go while i was straightening up?

i tried driving swirving side to side slowly on a straight road and it still does it..

any ideas?

It sounds to me like your power steering fluid is low. check that, if not, look at maybe getting a mechanic to look at ya rack cos it might be on its last legs.

It's a voltage problem in the HICAS system.

Strange as it may seem, check all the plugs on the back of the alternator are connected properly.

ive spent fark knows how long trying to fix my one doing that. its an old car pretty much.

my seems to be getting oil surge in the resovior

its kinda stopped now.. it only happened for one night?.. but i have noticed steering has gone abit stiffer.. not by heaps just noticeable
