Everyone has good and bad experiences with workshops, and so far i havnt had a problem with PowerPlay, and they have figured out one big problem for me, helped me with several others, and even done one peice of work where im sure they either broke even, or lost money after it was finished (so dont think all they care about is making money, im sure they would rather have a happy customer than one who gets average service and they make heaps off them, once you speak to the guys in the back you will understand), but they did it cause they are good people, understood i was having to make a tough decision, and they have a good rep for helping out their customers. Also, everytime my car has been there for even a small thing, they wash it THOROUGHLY before i get it back (which i dont expect, but sure do like and appreciate), aswel as showing me what ive broken, why ive broken it, and how to not break it again.

They do what they say they will do, on time.

If you want cheap shit, dont go there and waste Tosh or Joanns time (even though Tosh is always having a smoke outside :O )and let them tend to customers who can tell the difference between a knock off and a genuine part.

My 2c

i bought a front and rear cusco strut braces from them. I looked at there site and prices did seem a little high but they looked after me and the product was delivered quick and in the condition described. If i had more money to spend I would do alot more business with them :O

I've bought 3 cars over 6 years through these guys so far, their service, support and contacts are second to none. And no bullshit.

Yes you can buy cheaper chinese copies of parts on ebay if that's what you prefer, but you only have to have one problem and try and get support or warranty from those sellers to see what a huge difference it is.

If you buy genuine, quality japanese parts you know they will fit, work and keep working first time, every time. And for quality parts powerplay are very competitive.

As i have mentioned in another thread about a certian tyre dealership...

You get what you pay for, you want good service and top quality products then prepare to hand over the cash, you want cheap shit, and shit service then you pay less....

Me, im happy paying more!

I've had nothing but good experiences with Powerplay.

Ordered an East Bear CF bonnet from them. The quality far surpasses the cheap chinese shit that other places sell.

All this and the price I got from Powerplay was great. Couldn't be beat.

they must be the ducks guts

they are the ONLY australian distributer of R31HOUSE products

So all R31 owners have to kowtow to them and pay the prices....

I'm not judging either way, but when I saw the R31house prices I thought two things - that is they were either;

-Testing the water to see just how high they could price things (or leaving additional margin for discounting), or;

-Buying them at R31house retail THEN adding markup

Personally when I priced a set of decals and it reached the $250 mark, considering only a couple were genuine nissan ones, I was happy enough to pay $54 for a set of visually identical local reproductions.

I suppose if you want the parts you have to pay their price.

The prices seem high, but if they are sole distributors, do all the groundwork etc etc well fair enough, its their choice to set what price they feel is appropriate.

Prices aside the service is friendly and knowledgeable and I can't say I've heard anything negative.
