Interior Refresh

Hi Guys,

My interior is starting to look a little old...like my once black Brides that have now faded to purple hahaha. So I have taken to it with Photoshop to see what it would look like with a new colour scheme. What do you guys think...is it an ok look, or gag material?

The red is supposed to match the colour of the car, and was also thinking of doing the rocker cover in the same colour blend of black to red.

Any ideas from/opinions would be greatly appreciated

you could have bought the leatherette seat covers from the group buy. theyd be a very close match to what youve done there.

i reckon it doesnt look too bad

I'd go dark grey instead of black, so fading isn't so noticeable... and keep the red, but red in the doors might be over kill

Im not a fan of the colour coding interior, but my chalk is someone else's cheese!

If I did colour code the interior I would go down the same path you have there, but less is probably more, especially as red on black is such a contrast. My opinion though is subtle class! Black and dark... DARK... grey for a slight contrast

...that and a whole years earnings of carbon fibre parts of course! mmmm... carbon fibre!

looks good, obviously its just a quick chop but in that pic the black on the seats looks like overkill when compared to the carpet, maybe if you got black carpet too

Yeah I agree it looks pretty good but I rekon just leave the back seats the way it is.

I reckon it looks really good, but im a bit of a fan of the loud look. Subtle seems to be the in thing at the moment, but individuality is what modifying is about so if you like it, do it.

Too much contrast, but I guess it is a PS so the final material can be customised to look nice, red and a dark grey would look good.

Its only a doctored photoshop image so the colours aren't perfect Once decided and the work is done I will post the real photos to see what you guys think of the result

After some of your thoughts, I went back and made some alterations...still with the red/black colour scheme, but now through the whole interior Is this better? I think this looks better although some will still think it's too much contrast

Remember the red is supposed to be a burgundy...

I was thinking of going normal fabric...I dont like leather so much I will have to see how possible/easy it is to get the dash, centre console, door panels etc made darker. Not sure whether they just paint them or replace them. Any ideas?

get leather, its more robust than fabric.

the kidney bits on my recaro's started to wear away from getting in and out of the car so i got the sides redone and the centre of the seats (fabric) cleaned it they look back to brand new
