I asked this question at the end of the thread on wheel damage but i figured i might get more response if i made a new thread..;)

Does anyone know why the licensing centre won't pass my car because of the fact that the back wheels are wider than the front ones? They said that they will pass it if i get the garage who complied it to write a letter saying that the car is safe with the wheels that size. Fine - i am trying to organize that even though i don't think i should have to!!!

Does anyone know what the rules state about rim size's?

thanks

Duncan: you are incorrect mate. R33 GTS-T's came with 16 by 6.5 inch wheels standard. Front and back are exactly the same.

Hey if they came with 9's standard then 10 inch wide wheels (big) could be fitted legally.... then we can all drive nissan steamrollers!:P
