Good Place For Gtr Transfer Case Repairs

Hey everyone,

Im hoping someone knows a good place to have a GTR transfer case looked at. I need somewhere in Melbourne - if anyone can tell me where they have had theirs done and how good they did it / price let me know! or if someone knows someone who can do it....

Well it could start leaking! like mine.

Yeah thanks for the info RNGTR, i didnt know they did transfer cases there too!

I actually fixed the prob with mine anyway, but ill keep it in mind just in case.

Well, the problem with mine was that the fluid inside the unit was coming out of the input shaft of the case and pumping into my gearbox - pumping itself dry. When the unit was reco'd, the guy must have forgotten to put the plug back in it. I fixed it by simply putting in a welch plug. It was only because i looked at another unit that i saw that there was meant to be a plug in there!

The unit cost about $2,700 to be reco'd if thats whats u wanna know. Not sure exactly what was done or what was replaced but i think alot of stuff was replaced.
