Was this car at JEM last week?

It was on the dyno i think. Was the engine built by Autosport? Heard you have had some bad luck with engines?

ah its no drama..one night of snow and light and flufffy...Was too smashed xmas too put it in the garage and we had 50cm overnight..Fairly common here..Only damage was my body..shocking hangover and hour to shovel the car out..

A snow flake is light and fluffy, that on the other hand is not so light and fluffy.

ie: 1 tonne of feathers is still as heavy as 1 tonne of iron.

But i was mainly referring to the environmental conditions the car is in and all the inherent issues that it will cause over time.

Where do you think every other Skyline in Australia came from?

The enviroment here is super dry in winter, much much drier than say most places in oz, thats why so many aussies come here for the snow, its the driest on the planet. Car is normaly garaged ! Seeing I've been here for nearly 10 years my concern to you would be the fact A) I know the history of my car

(B) most cars here sit in car lots for god knows how long without being started before they ever make it to auctions and they cop the full brunt of weather and acid rain,

© most japanese drivers wouldnt have a clue where the dip stick is..they drive their cars, put petrol in , and most dont dervice their cars until they have to do rego (shakken) which is every 2 years..

Trust me, a bit of snow is nothing compared to what I've seen some GTR's go thru before being shipped off to auction..

I'd take 50cms of Hokkaido light fluffy super dry snow sitting on my car for 1 day anytime compared to harsh aussie climate.

What's your point???? :D

Not all imports come from the snow covered mountains. The cheaper ones are covered with rust due to the salt roads in these areas. Just raising the question whether someone would buy a cheaper import if they saw the car covered in snow, like that one was.

^^ thats mint.

rekn you should swap the wheels off your GTST tho, and lower it a tad :D

Cheers ;)

I actually sold the work wheels of the gts25t a couple of weeks ago, they wouldnt have looked very good on the gtr because of their sizes and offsets anyway, not to mention they had different sized tyres front and back so would mess with the ATTESA.

I agree with the lowering part, it does sit a little bit high, but overall i am actually very impressed with the stock suspension so might just go with some Tein springs and also some wheel spacers, should make it look a bit nicer!
