Zdeno,

One of those wires shoudld be 12V+, and the other should be ground??

Try a Multimeter, (Or one of those screwdriver light thingys that light when theres power) And just see if theres power there.

If there isnt, then look at all your fuses!! ( On your car, Under hood, Under dash, & in da boot. Might have to move the subxors!)

If this doesnt work stick a 9V battery (little square one! :shakes: ) in the line, this should make them light up a little bit. If it doesnt then your globes are blown, this either means that you have replaced the factory recommended fuses with heavey guage mario fuses. and youve busted the globes, or your the 1 in 100,000 who has a faulty resistance on one of those fuses and your globes have packed up, insted of your fuses!

if you still have this problem, il come down and have a look.

ive had this prob it will be a fuse in the boot near the battery 10a(i think) bout 3rd,4th back from the front, and i think you will also find that your brake lights dont light up with the headlights on, only when u brake..... just replace the fuse and if it blows straight away theres power gettin to earth somewhere, probly at the broken dimmer switch u spoke about...took me 2 days on and off to fix my dramas, better then payin someone in the end...good luck !
