n15m0
Ferni...hrmmm license details... I vote for people who wish to sell in the for sale sections of SAU should provide a good quality scanned/photo of the license and contact details (phone etc). We would record the persons details and if required for some unknown legal issue discard the licence scan/photo. Possibly even check up with a quick phone call (voip so local cost interstate calls). I'm currently the SA mod which basically looks after its self these days so I have no issues increasing work load. I honestly don't buy of ppls I haven't seen around SAU for a long time; which is a bummer as there's quite a few good little items that pop up from time to time that I simply don't purchase due to my suspicious nature. Not a good idea scanned licences etc. You know what the possibilities are someone else having a good quality scan of ur licence??? Ever heard of identity theft? Next thing you know u'll be receiving heaps of mobile phone bills and crap that someone else signed up under ur name! My thoughts were more around buyer depositing $$ into a trust account held by SAU. Once buyer receives goods and are satisfied, SAU releases the $$ to seller. Something to think about for high value items but I guess it just makes the whole process of buying and selling more complicated Hope you get ur money back! Cubes
I've changed my thoughts since. Simply create a 100posts before being allowed to sell on SAU. Much like nissansilvia.com, it appears to work quite well over there. sigsputnik
there's value in having to post 100 messages in order to trade, but if you have a look in whoretown, you'll see there are plenty of people who could post after just one or two days! buggor34
I think the idea of being an SAU member (not just forum member) is defiantely a good idea, before people are able to sell.
