Ok a mate has a Garett GT25/40 Ballbearing going for $1200

History - Purchased for $2400 (2 years ago) was put on a rice boy silvia with a highmount manifold, the dude ran it for 2,000 km of show car engine life running 10 PSI (dumb), the turbo is a perfect upgrade for high horsepower applications, too laggy for his silvia, removed it to use a small one and sold it to my mate for $1700 about a year and a half ago... mate was going to use it on an rb30et but the exaust shops said it has a rear housing too small for a big boost 30, He has wanted to sell it for a year but never got around to it...

It is a perfect upgrade for big power on a 2 litre motor, also really good on a 2.5 litre motor, still provide lots of hp on an RB25 or a 1JZ

This turbo is in perfect condition availible to see thru arrangement in brisbane - It has no shaft play good bearings, no cracks or any defect what so ever... If your looking at upgrading a motor with the appropirate capacity this is the best turbo you could get your hands on... Don't forget garett turbos feature the most superior build quality/reliabity of all turbos... Much better then HKS, Turbonetics etc, they mostly modify garett turbo's anyway...

Garrett GT25BB 450hp ball bearing turbo

This unit has a T25 type base flange and GT25 type rear flange for the exhaust. Features a huge .70 comp cover with smooth machined bellmouth inlet and 4" inlet. This unit has a .86 exhaust housing in this 450hp form . The comp wheel actually flows 44 LBs/Min and itself is rated near 450hp. Usual ultra reliability and superb response from the Garrett ball bearing design. Sometimes called a GT25/40. Very similar to the HKS GT25/40 but with a different comp cover and different number of blades on the compressor. Great upgrade for SR20DETs and other 2 litre's. A little laggier than the 400hp unit due to the larger exhaust housing.

Price:

$2,099.90

    • Can confirm previous shop that built my motor had no fking clue about oil control and caused my motor to shit itself after two track days. Current shop, Birrong Automotive, has managed to build me a motor, not to mention, has also let me tune it myself and it has yet to blow up after 7 track days. Great oiling success, yashimash.
    • It definitely seems like you have no beef, with only digging up a 5 year old post, to comment on an inflammatory item with total insensitivity, and of which had nothing to do with the thread.  Yep, you definitely seem like a great person and your friends and family would be so proud to know of your lovely actions
    • Thanks buddy, so happy to be back! Managed to pickup a Unicorn R34 completely stock and clean. Looking forward to adding some goodies to it and posting one here. I'm shocked that so many forums stopped. If you could find my old profile - I'd love that if its possible. My old account was JET200GT. My email might need to be fixed too. To use this one. I think it was the same though..
    • My fuel feed line is connected to this metal canister instead of the factory hard line. I have no idea what it is. I'd like to be rid of it but it's got a red and black wire connected to it and I know stuff all about wiring. I've been having fueling related issues and I think this thing might be the culprit. I've attached some pictures of the object in question, the wires connected to it and what I think is where it connects into the harness. Does anyone know what it is?
    • I have no beef with him, never had any dealings with him at all. You're welcome to your opinion of course.
