Hi guys

i've just purchased a turbotech manual boost controller and need a bit of advice about where it goes. I understand that it is to be installed in the tube between the turbo and waste gate actuator. I have identified where i think it should go on the pic below, could someone please confirm this, or instruct otherwise?

Cheers

Jeremy

Here you go. Bassicaly, remove the T-piece and install the controller the, the inlet side is the one opposite the bolt, the side is the outlet. BE carfull with these, make sure they are unscrewed just about out when you firt start to test, mine after one turn was at 10psi.

Disconnect the cable link form the original controller and either plug up the vacume hose or leave connected, makes no differance. Hope that helps.

BTW these controllers rock.

Thanks for your prompt replies. Could I be a pain and ask that you put a photo of your's installed. I'm a bit confused about which way it should point and why it couldn't just be placed between the two tubes I identified, because isn't that controller now redundant? Sorry that i don't understand this shit better...

humm digy not working.

The controller does go in between two tubes, but the main two tubes, you remove the T pice that is there currently. So basically that is the wastgate actuator not the selenoid, then disconect the standard selenoid.

there is a section in the forum about these i tried to search but no good, i'll try tomorrow for you

does any one know where the top hose on the selenoid goes to and how does it control the boost the actuator is set at 7psi how does it go down to 5.

The hose connected to the top of the standard selenoid, goes to the vacume side of the intake, before the turbo, it is there to help the selenoid work , that it, nothing else, once the selenoid is not being used, it can be disconnected.

The standard selenoid, simply opens at 5 psi, a signal form the computer earths out the valve and sets the it to 7psi, or there abouts, they are not supper acurate.

TRUST me it will work, i have done this to two cars now, and they are all fine. I will take a picture over the weekend and post it up.
