I'm in the process of converting my 32 to a manual. It came time to bolt up the tailshaft and the center bearing isn't lining up properly. Everything else bolts up fine but the center bearing sits about an inch too far towards the front of the car. Anyone have any ideas whats going on here??

Cheers

Simon

sounds like your trying to use the auto tailshaft?

Nope got a manual one. Unless i've been given the wrong one. But sitting next to the auto tailshaft i pulled out its definately longer. Every thing is fine except for the center bearing not lining up.

Is the total length of the manual drive shaft correct or is it a bit long overall?

If it won't hurt to lose an inch or so overall just swap your auto rear half onto your manual front half.

You may be running into abs vs non abs diff issues
