Hi all,

Its time to replace my tyres on my r34 gt-t.

At the monent i have the falken 451's and they're ok.

Just want to know what else is out there, i want GOOD tyres that are going to be able to cope with alot of power for a street car thats used for daily driving in wet and dry..

I dont bother ringing tyre shops as they try to sell me $140 family car tyres.

I want some professional advice please.

Thanks in advance.

When you say cope, is that traction or length of life?

Its not quite clear

With big power, you wont have traction regardless of what tyre you use.

It more comes down to the driver how long and how fast the tyres will die.

You can fork out serious coin for big brand name tyres.

But if you cant restrain the right foot then you'll be due for a new set in under 6 months

Maybe head down to the Ferrari dealer and see what they put on the back of a 575.

That is a 500hp road car with road tyres, then just buy a set of whatever it uses.

I could only find the size which is 295/35ZR18 so hopefully they can fit.

i remember the standard tyres as being bridgestone s02. this was from a uk (EVO) magazine, so they may be different on a local model.

They are normally fitted with perelli P ones or get a semi slick street tyre
