Car Jerks For 1 Sec After A While Of Driving

when driving, once in a while, the car would do a quick jerk, liek a 1 sec jerk then back to normal, feels liek you kicking the clutch in and out kinda feeling, it doesnt matter if im accerating or slowing down, once in a while it would do it............recently i just had the engine replaced, but the 1st couple days it was fine until now it happened out of no where? as far as i know my spark plugs are backfiring on high rpms so i need to change that

what could it be?

btw car is a r33 gtst

could be heaps of things. im swinging towards the power supply. ie. sh*t battery, short circuit... etc.etc.
