Water Temp Sensor Fitting Problems?

Hi guys,

I got the sensor fitting thing for my water temp gauge from just jap, but for the life of me i cant get it working properly. Sometimes my water temp will read 20-40c but after running the car for a while its blindingly obvious thats totally false. But i just cant get it to work properly, and its all setup correctly im sure. A mate also has one and he said they are simply rubbish and dont work (he tried heaps) and he eventually just re-wired it to the stock fitting.

Has anyone else had any experience with this?

hey..

same here.. got those 3 gauge from just crap too..

they just a pack of crap..

my water temp only move a little bit..

my oil temp sometimes move but most of the time don't not to mention i was sold a sandwich plate that doesn't fit and almost cooked my car..

spent nearly $300 on the whole thing after new oil, new sandwich plate from Autobarn and wiring and shits..and got nothing..

learned my lesson..

So have you got anything working? This is freaking ridiculous. JustJap will be hearing from me thats for sure.

Problem solved, it needed a grounding wire.
