Curious to findout what other people have said in here.

I have finally installed my fmic but I have realised that the stock air box wont fit anymore.

I was told to just buy a pod and make a CAI.

The thing is that I prefer the stock airbox with the k&n filter in it.

Is there anyway at all to modify the stock box to make it fit?

With the pod filter u will also get a cool induction noise.

Im thinkin about getting a better heat shield rather than the cover thats over the pod, but im no rush as its working great now

Used to have a FMIC + stock airbox/snorkel setup... got too boring after a while and upgraded to a Pod.

Did a little DIY on the snorkel mod; have a look:

NB: Plan was to get the snorkel plastic welded; but that never eventuated. But the end result was a snorkel that did wrap around the FMIC pipe perfectly :P I was happy~
