Diff Fitted

Just wondering. Where is there to get a diff fitted to a skyline, also do you haveto take out the whole rear end (cradle etc) or can you just drop the centre from underneath the car? Is it a costly job?

you just drop the centre bit out, the rest stays in.

i recenently had my diff checked by nothern differentials in thomastown/sommerton. they are pretty good guys and know their shit.

my cousin knows the blokes down there. How much will it be to fit a GTR diff? if its easy i can do it myself considering i am a mechanic but doing it on the floor is a bitch of a job.

the charged me 350 odd to pull my diff out

inspect it, flush it and put it back in

so probably about the same to swap centres

both gts and gtr centres including crown & pinion are the same? and will it in either centre?

Man take it to TRANS GEAR AND DIFFS. Mahoneys rd Thomastown, next to the Mobil Servo,

I know you go to MSC a bit and there shop is just up the road on Mahoneys road, they know there jap cars inside out!!!

They were one of my customers and they will look after you well, Speak to Cain or Kevin and just tell them Kim from Wurth sent you down.

krazy stuff, jus found out the diff i wanted is now sold so i need to find another GTR diff if someone can find me one cheap or wants to sell one to me . I was thinking about fitting it at work, if not ill go where you said starionturbo thanks
