i am looking for a series2 stagea compatible short throw shifter whether new or second hand i will consider all! or even if yoiu could point me in the right direction to purchase one? whether it be in oz or overseas.

i have placed an order for one from KUDOS motorsport thru this site and am expecting it in around 3 weeks.

i am getting a C's racing unit for $375 australian delivered.

I think mine has a short-shift kit on it, I'll have to meet up with Andy EGA41T one day to confirm this... Was probably done at the same time as the previous owner did the manual conversion.

what can go wrong with a short shifter?? theres one on ebay $99???

i am a firm believer in you get what you pay for on ebay and in general everywhere else you buy gear from.

i am also a great believer in having a warranty supplied with the product so you have a recourse when/if something does go wrong and your stuck on the side of the road!

dont mean to be a stickler R33stagea but i would rather go with a known brand than some cheap ass chinese copy which are generally in past experiences of s*%thouse quality and dont really work too well in their application.

so as a result i bought a known brand with a written guarentee/warranty from a recognised parts dealer and now that i have it installed i am comfortable that i will get a long service life from the product supplied.

as it was a great fit and the instructions supplied were well laid out etc. including diagrams for those like me that cant read full japanese (i didn't look hard enough in the box of bits for the english ones) it went in a treat and works really well
