IF ANYONE WANTS FREE HORSE POWER REMOVE THE RESTRICTOR FROM THE INTAKE PIPE LEADING TO THE THE SOLENOID BOOST CONTROLLER. TO FIND IT FEEL ALONG THE LINE AND YOU WILL FEEL A LUMP OF METAL IN THE LITTLE RUBBER HOSE THAT GOES TO THE BOOST CONTROLLER GTR'S HAVE THIS AS WELL.

THE RESTRICTOR LOOKS LIKE A LITTLE ROUND METAL PIECE AITH A HOLE IN THE MIDDLE.

HAVE FUN!!

I LIVE TO DRIFT IN FRONT OF COPS

firstly take caps lock off

secondly it doesnt apply to gtst's

thirdly buy a bleed valve and up the boost properly. if you do some cowboy job like this you could cause the turbo to overboost, resulting in blown turbo and possibly engine damage from a lack of fuel/detonation.

SIKR33, can u provide some pics?? because when i boosted my series 2, i disconnected the boost restricter and fitted a pipe on without the bump in the middle.... its on most nissans and my friend did the same to his 200sx.... im sure i know what ur talking about, but if u can show some pics of what u mean that would be great!!

Boost restrictor? Nope.

And it is not the same as the GTR.

What you need is a restriction on the other side of the solenoid.I've done this and had the boost at 10psi (you still have a two step boost curve tho').

And if you want the boost to be 10psi for good then buy a cheap ass bleeder. Better still an EBC.

ADAM SERIOUSLY IF I WANT TO USE CAPS LOCK I WILL OTHERWISE MIND UR OWN BUSINESS, AND YES I AM AN AIRCRAFT MECHANIC AND THIS IS A RESTRICTOR AND NO IT WONT CAUSE THE TURBO TO OVERBOOST ALL IT DOES IS FREE UP THE VACUUM LINE TO ALLOW MORE BOOST TO BE APPLIED BUT IT WILL ONLY BOOST TO 7.5PSI WITHOUT AN EXHAUST OR WITH AN EXHAUST 10 PSI . GUYS DON'T WORRY THIS WILL NOT HARM UR TURBO OR MOTOR. ITS BETTER THAN CUTTING WIRE 53

You must be one sick aircraft mechanic, did you do word processing as part of your engineering training?
