I bought my R32 off a Kiwi couple who brought the car in as a Personal import as apose to a Low Volume,so the compliance rules aren't as full on.

So with my car,where they would usually put a child restraint bolt,they didn't have to and instead there is a plastic box.When u open the boot,there is a small round metal speaker type thing(a clarion) but it isn't a traditional looking one.Its just all metal.

If anyone knows wtf,please do.I'm about to unplug it to find which is the power etc ( it has a 5 point plug)

I think it could be the rear speaker amplifier. Is it located in the centre below the parcel shelf? Should have eleven wires if it's the same as mine though.

yup its the amp for the rear speakers

Yea.It must be the rear speaker amp.It still doesn't explain the black plastic box on the parcel shelf that looks like a speaker cover of sorts.When u take the top off it there is a switch that is on only when the cover is on.Plus it has a orange globe attached.

Its got me miffed.

Yes.It does have 11 wires as well.
