These look nice....more power and better response than a HKS GT2530....

As New TWIN APEXi AX53B60P21 680HP

http://www.jappartsspecialist.com/main.htm

Last I looked the GT2530's or Garrett GT2860R-5 Turbo's are rated at 700HP so how are you stating that.

So waiting for a reply on why the AFM's with the d-getro unit?

just from what the site says.....

I do like the the apexi design tho, would be more efficient than a HKS2530 given the same size.

"The AX turbo incorporates the AIRICK system. The AIRICK system incorporates a patented material in between the compressor housing and the compressor blade. The insertion of this material allows near 0 clearance between the blade and housing improving compressor efficiency by almost 5-6% all across the board. AIRICK also lowers compressor outlet temperatures under high load by 50-68 degrees F. This not only improves overall maximum output, but improves the boost response right before the intercept point of the turbine."

btw I run HKS 2530's =)

My warning was because of what was on a web site.

Don't listen to what they go on about in the turbo info section....

Look at the results and the mods. done in the performance threads...RB20,RB25,RB26.Upgrades

I have not seen may of these guys use this system HKS and Garrett seem to be the best choice.(both being the same turbo anyway)

Take care

The graph that is posted at the start of this topic by writeoff might be abit ancient too.

So looking at this would be incorrect to compare PSI of Turbo's.

IE. The old N1 turbo's are different from the new one's.

The answer was ignorance. I knew nothing about D-Jetro Power FCs and hadn't done the research. I've read up on them since. Still haven't finalised what I need and therefore haven't ordered anything yet. Also waiting on results from leakdown test on engine before I order anything.

Write off- I would avoid the D-jetro if you want the nicest car possible to drive. Djetro can make more power sometimes due to the absence of the AFM as a restriction but the djetro are much harder to tune and are drawing on a signal (MAP sensor) which is much less accurate than an AFM which makes for a car that doesn't drive quite as well. Unless your worried about every last kilowatt I would buy the AFM version and save yourself money on tuning and have a nicer car to drive.

very good list there. the only think I would change would be get nismo afm instead of Z32. 60mm afm is no big restriction considering the size of the intake piping is smaller than that anyway.
