Converting Rb25 Pfc To Work With Rb20

Hi Guys,

I remember a while back there was a thread made by someone - can't remember who... (Cubes, Roy?) about the problems they were having with their AP Engineering R32 Power FC.

when they looked at it, they found that its basically an RB25 or RB26 unit with a couple of wires changed?

does anyone know where i can find that thread?

Reason i ask is if its just a matter of changing a few wires, then it might be worth getting an RB25 unit, and modifying it, instead of forking out the extra $500ish for the RB20 unit...

I've used search, and had a bit of a read back through the pages of threads, but i can't for the life of me find it!

Any help would be appreciated

From the pinout point of view the rb25 ecu is the most straight forward as they are very much alike.

However an rb26 item can also be used but does have an extra fuel pump something or other pinout which I'm not sure what it does exactly.

From memory on the rb25 ecu you swap inj. 4 & 6 pin outs and then snip wire 57.
