Fuel pump location on R33

Someone told me that the fuel pump was accessible through a plate in the floor of the boot. I've just had a quick look and can't find it, and the fuel tank doesn't even seem to be under the boot floor anyway.

I'm going to look around the HICAS area and see what I can find, but on the off-chance I can't find anything, can someone please let me know where it's located and how easy/hard it is to remove?

I've found the fuel pump, but can't figure out how to get it out of there. It looks like it's held in a big screwtop thing, but I can't seem to untwist it. I tried hammering it slightly but only managed to damage the plastic Does it twist off or is there something holding it in place?

Ok, the fuel pump isn't under that plastic thing. What a waste of an afternoon! And the ring that holds it all on is an utter bitch to get back on. I'm gonna have another look on the weekend.

fuel pump is on a bracket inside the fuel tank mounted against the wall of the tank beside the fuel guage

trust me its there i had to get into mine

acess is through the boot just unscrew the 7" cap on the tank and reach inside
