Hi guys,

First time caller, longtime lurker. I've just bought a '94 R33, which is sitting in Osaka, but I'm already planning what I want to do with it, and I have a couple of questions:

- What's an FMIC? Fuel Management Integrated Chip?

- If so, is that what a PowerFC does (in addition to everything else it does)?

- Are there many/any places in Brisbane that are capable of tuning a PowerFC well?

Er... I'm sure I'll think of other questions later, so I'll add them as I go.

cheers

Sciby.

Well, my (self-admittedly naive) plan was to get a new ECU to get the engine as in tune as possible, with a good air/fuel mix... then I'd start organizing a front mount, up'ing the boost, etc.

well a powerfc helps you up the boost more efficiently, but you wont be able to up it to much without an fmic.. so i'd say fmic, pfc, then a new turbo :P

Well, I'm not too concerned about upp'ing the boost just yet. I'd like to get the engine running sweetly as-is, then getting a fmic and winding up the boost, etc.
