Poping Out Of 5th Gear, Help?

RB25DET R33 IS POPING out of 5th, on decel. Driving at 100km/h then getting of the gas pedal and letting it slow down to 60km/h, sometimes it pops out of gear, not all the time but most. Any ideas where to start looking

Start looking inside the gearbox.

I had a similar problem in my old 240Z - turned out the nut that holds the 5th gear cluster in place was undoing itself.

I'd suggest getting it fixed sooner rather than later, because my Z box eventually ran out of 5th totally (despite no apparent damage).

Worn selector ( it doesn't go in gear 100%) or more than likely warn gear. It will get worse as time goes on..

used to get that in my old civic, now its running gears 1,2,and 4

i think its gotta do with somesorta springs or something - get a mechanic to check it out - cos i dont think its easy to have a look at by yourself...
