Kinks
Trying to hide scratches with polish is a waste of time. You need an abrasive 'cut' to take the scratches out. Cutting either requires a lot of elbow grease or an orbital polisher. I will be using Swirl Remover (which is a very light cut) on my car tomorrow, hopefully that will be enough. When using any abrasive you should use the lightest cut first and only go up to heavier levels if you need to. MotoMan
also... buff off with microfibre instead of terry towels... comes off easier and less chance of scratching Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/131551-meguiars-products/page/2/#findComment-2442129 Share on other sites
Shayde
I only use Kitten shampoo and kitten polish. Immaculat finish every time. Full clean takes 2 hours. Polishing every few days afterwards to maintain awesomeness takes 20-30 minutes. benl1981
Anybody know about getting the gloss back to old paint? I think on one section I have used too deep a cutting compound and as a result the duco has turned dull. Is there a way to increase the gloss. Does the wax help this - long term...
