Another 4wd Problem

hey guy the couple of days i have noticed my 4wd isnt working properly, something it dose some time it dosnt..

i havnt had the 4wd light come on so i cant fine the problem can anyone please help

and also iv tryed bleeding it in both locations

like today was raining all day n the back wheels were spinning, bout 2 hours later the 4wd was working again, i cant work it out

Sounds like a slipping transfer case.

Have you checked the condition of the transer case fluid??

nup coz i had racepace replace al that bout 2months ago

well i can't tell without seeing it but:

a. risking is a certified nissan mastertech

and

b. you say someone recently did some work on the transfer case

without knowing if your control unit led is flashing, i'd say it's a good bet.

well itryed the diagnostics, but dont no if i did i right i turned the ignition on and checked for flashing led but nothing was flashing?? did i do it right

abit more info is good so you are only getting rear wheel drive ?

does the torque guage move?

ok my torque gauge works as it should, sometime i only get rwd and mayb 1 hour later it might decide to work again

If the guage is behaving as it should yet your getting rear wheel only and there is no faults pressent it can only be one of two things.

A transfer case issue or less likely the wheel speed sensors. Yes there is a fault code for the individual sensors however its only for iregulritiesin the signals not for shorts or open circuits. Wheel speed sensors are generally either stuffed or not unless its a loom problem which could be intermitant.

Either way id be checking the sensor looms then moving onto the case.

just now then but i got the tyres changed today and didnt do it all day
