no i cant say i have ... but i did see something like that in a hot4s mag ... it was an electric turbo good for a 3psi of boost or somwthing like that ...

that isnt a intake charge unit. ive read about those units before on L6's From what i can remember it was either for the intake manifold cooling. Or was it for emssions on the PCV system. Definitly not a smaller Charger unit

they drop the intake manifold temps. More related to prevent vavpor lock in Carberated Vehicals. Its a factory fitted item

I may aswell jump into this... I've got a .pdf page out of the manual for the 280zx that features this weird thing on the l28.

Its the auxillary cooling fan (looks like a turbo! Confused me at first). If anyone wants the pic posted I suppose I could do it.

They were on the USA version of the L28. They were supposed to help cool the injectors by blowing air onto them
