Fuel Tank No Pressure?is It Normal?

HI all!! I've noticed that when i open my fuel cap, to refill the tank, I dont hear any air coming out or that there is pressure in the tank, like the ppssssstt sound when you open your fuel cap at the pump station. Is this normall? The car is running really well no problems but just noticed it. It has a bosch 040 fuel pump in it.Thanks any input if greatly appreciated.

it could be that the cap isn't sealing properly. i doubt this would affect performance. the only problem that could occur is if you have a full tank and park sideways on a hill you could have fuel leak out.

but then i never have it happen every time i fill up, but most times.

Mine doesnt make the noise either. I rang nissan up for a replacement fuel cap and they wanted something like $60!!!
