which way does the cat go with the 02 plug at the front or back?

O2 sensor goes to the back, passenger side.

Check out the DIY thread, it's got a full run down on the process that's pretty good.

there should be an arrow on it.. with the arrow pointing in the direction of exhaust flow.. it will only fit one way anyway i think..

Its actually not an o2 sensor. It is an exhaust temp light sensor.

ie. when the temp gets toooo high, the exhaust light on your dash just lights up.

Really does nothing.

The o2 sensor goes where the dump pipe is, after the exhaust end of the turbo.
