ok, if it says 100,00km's and if it's @ the front of the engine bay, it is most probably the label to either remind you to change the timing belt or to say that the timing belt has been changed @ what the odo reading was when it was changed

Wouldn't you expect a 9 year old car to have done 10,000kms? Thats on 12000 per year, about 1/2 the Aus average......

Really it would be good to see a sticker saying the timing belt has been done - if you've got a 94 without the timing belt changed I would get it done ASAP. Mine had on 70000 on the odo when I changed the timing belt.

To clarify, I understand the sticker is where the workshop is meant to note the change when it happens.

My point is, 10 9 yr old car should have had a timing belt change by now, regardless of what your speedo says
