Tyre Pressure Gauge

I'm after a decent tyre pressure gauge, mainly to check tyre pressures when at the track, something reasonably accurate... Anyone recommend anything or are they all the same?

Dick Smith (at least used to) sell a digital gauge. They were about $25 or so, and are fairly accurate.

It really doesn't matter how accurate the gauge is, as long as you use it consistently.

blue point tyre guage is the go. around $50, nice big dial so easy to reed. and release valve to bleed pressure to desired level without getting hot air burning your hand.

I use the $10 from K-Mart. Its a circular one that fits easy in the glove box. Well worth it.

go to autobarn or WOOLIES (Perth) and get the Digital Michelin pressure reader. Man, I bought one and used it for over a year. I got no complaints!!

Very accurate and my baby's 4 tyres get tuned to 36 psi every 2 weeks! No complaints and max of $50 only...

cant really recommend one but i can tell u not to buy a normal snap on one. they are cheap feeling and look like ones u can buy from the dollar store (they are about $18)

looks like the higher model one that beer baron recommends seems a lot better.

I like digital...soooo easy to read and accurate enough for me (0.5psi)

i still reccomend one like the blue point one i posted above. because it's on a hose you can hold one end to the valve and the dial in your hand which is handy if your valve is upside down or you have dished rims. plus as it has a release valve you can release excess pressure whilst you are still getting a reading.
