Not shore were to post this but...does anyone know how to take out the side windows on a r34gtt???

i think it's just been de-tinted?

any windscreen place could do it i suppose, o'briens.... etc. etc...

you going for the respray mate? i'm keen to see your car when it's done... being kept under wraps a bit ey?

yep its almost ready got all the bars to fit,boot lid n jams been sprayed already just need to start rubbing the whole car back

I would be extremely picky about who you take that job to mate (window removal)... the rear quarter glass is 'formed' onto the rubber (comes from Nissan like that). It's meant to be single use and only good window guys will even try get it out without braking 1) the window and 2) the mould.

If you are in Sydney; shoot me a PM... I had to have this done and it took me a month of calling before I found the right guy. Did an awesome job, and the removal/transfer was flawless.

FYI; this rear quarter glass from Nissan from memory is about $600

Yeah you'd need to go out I reckon, he's a busy boy.

Sounds pretty damn good to me but I've never had to replace them. Mind you I need a new windscreen!

oh adz, sorry, i mean, cost to "take out, put back in" windows. So for respray purposes

a new windscreen wasn't as "bend-over" as i thought... i had to get it done for RWC, some crap about sand blasting... pfft... anyways.. it was like $100, i'm not 100%, i'll dig the receipt out but i thought it was quite reasonable for labour and parts.

i'm still trying mate... i'll PM him now as well... DT Panels said it would cost another 200-300 ontop of the respray to get the windows out, someone comes to their workshop. They reckon the dude has neve broken a window.

can't the workshop you're taking it too take 'em out??

LOL iam the workshop with my brother inlaw his a panle beater he can do front n back but not the side ones.
