Motorbike Licence - what are the rules ?

I heard that if you are over a certain age you can get around the riding around on a 250cc whilst on your L's or P's or whateva ??

Anyone know the rules ?? Also, you gotta go on some sort of pre-license training ??

I s'spose the RTA web site will tell me huh ??

Hey Bman, You heard right, if your over 30 you can apply for a mature riders licence which you can go straight to your full licence thus avoiding 250cc for 1 year on your p's licence... But you must attend the pre learner riding course which is two 3.5 hour days.

I did mine recently at St Ives... Going for my p's licence soon..

Hopefully in a month... Then I can ditch my XR and get an R1! :uh-huh:

Na, go a gsxr 1000 or the 750 version. Use to be a yama man but a ride on my mates gsxr750 and I saw the light and was touched by a higher power.

Yeah maybes.. I'll have to ride a few models to find out which one I like best... R1,R6,Ninjas,GSX-R,Ducatis... Not for a year anyway!:uh-huh:

Never cut in front a skyline which has pole position at the lights.

Sweet - but you still have to do L's on a 250 right ????
