has anyone got any idea what other water pump can i bolt into an r34 without modifications? or where can i source one.. apart from nissan? already called nissan and theres only one in the country which is being ordered and coming in next week. thanks in advance

Import wreckers like Just Jap can get them, not just Nissan.

The water pump is the same across all the RB engines. The only one that is different is the RB26 N1 water pump. So, if you are after one quickly, try Holden, ask for one for a VL Commodore.

Some RB30E parts from Holden are still cheapish, water pumps may be one of them, and the dealer may carry them in stock.

Or just for a laugh, call Nissan again and ask for a water pump to suit a 1986-1990 Australian delivered R31 Skyline. If they say they have heaps in stock, get one of those..... the same again.

is it a direct bolt on? or does it need some type of modification ? like.. does it line up properly? cause i heard like 1 hole doesnt fit or something and i wouldn't want it to leak.

i hole doesnt fit on a RB20DET i think, i just put one on my S1 R33 GTS-T with a RB25DET and went on perfect.

$97 for a Silverline water pump for a RB30E at Repco.

I think the genuine ones from Nissan were only $140 from memory which isnt too bad.

R33 water pumps don't fit the R34 apparently. Boostworks in sa tried putting a 33 pump on my series II r34 and it wasn't suitable.

I'm not sure what aftermarket pumps you can get sorry.
