Ebay Intercoolers - Pros/cons

I was having a look at intercoolers as im wanting to put one on, and ive seen full kits ranging from 3-600 with piping.

Has anyone ever put one of these on, and if so are they any good and was there any problems.

And on the side, is there a fair power increase if you use a cheap one running stock boost?

no power increase. use a local sau supported seller, much more safer and likely to yeild better results. probably a tad cheaper. i think gkteck is the local intercooler guy for sau

Just Jap (SAU sponsor I think) have FMIC kits including piping for $550. Excellent quality product, can recommend.

i've got a set of R33 piping kit can fit 600x300x75 coolers if your intrested...

nothing wrong with the ebay intercoolers (well the xs power ones...) ive a few friends running them on moderately high power cars (400-500whp) and they work well.

pretty hard to eff up a intercooler imho.

Nothing wrong with the cheap cores.

Most people's problems (if they have any) are to do with piping not lining up.
