Tiptronic In A R33 Gtst

Does anyone know if the r34 tiptronic gearbox will fit into a r33 gtst?

they are both RB25....

they will physicaly bolt up getting it to work will be the trickey part, the r34 auto wiring goes in to the engine loom from memory and from the engine loom it goes in to the body loom to the computer.

also this is all from memory

if you could get a whole 1/2 cut than go for it, but with my experance with putting in my 5speed auto dont bother

I haven't heard of it being done, but aside from the wiring loom difficulty I can't see it would be a major hassle.

I currently have an R34 tiptronic and will soon be looking to offload the tiptronic box, console piece (inc tiptronic switch) and steering wheel with tiptronic controls - PM me if you're interested
