Wanting To Turbo

Hey guys,

I'm new hear but i have finally finished paying off my 1999 R34 25GT-V 4 door.

And now that its payed off i want to whack a turbo onto it.

Now i'm pretty new to all this performance upgrading for cars so i was wondering if someone can help me out with what im going to need to purchase and some details of a workshop that could install the turbo for me. Becuase since it is a non-turbo engine won't i need to get it decompressed when the turbo goes in.

But i love my car

I've gotten so attached to it this last 5 years. So id like to find out costs of it. Would it be cheaper to get a GT-T engine and whacking it into the GT-V?

Again, way too much work and effort. Then you've gotta upgrade the brakes, get engineer certificates.

A GT-T is just like your car... except much better.

you have to upgrade the engine, gearbox, diff, brakes. The list goes on

i undertand your attatched to your car, but in the end the best choice would be to sell yours and buy a GTT... it's going to cost you more to turbo your car and there will be a long list of things you'll want to do to it to make it more like a GTT.....

Bite the bullet and buy a GTT.

i sold my R34 25gt (no idea what the diff is between ur's and mine)

and bought a GTT

couldnt be happier, cept i miss the N/A punch/responsiveness @ top end sometimes
