Ive got an rb25 sitting here, got the forged pistons and all the bits but the car would just be another r32 with an rb25 in it .I like the idea of the rb20 as there are no really quick rb20's getting around that I know of , you go to the drags or a track meet and if its got an rb25 in it people expect it to be quick .The last couple time's I ran the old black car at the drags the amount of people that came upto me thinking it had an rb25 or 30 in it was amazing and were quite shocked to find it had an rb20 in it and run consistant 12 second passes. So its a bit of a challenge ive set myself to get it to run an 11 sec pass in street trim .The 25 can always go in later after I've acheived my target pass "maybe" :-)

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
