My mechanic reckons that you shouldnt lock the hicas system out, he reckons that if the wheels are aligned proberly it will not chew your tyres out.I personaly reckon that he doesnt know whats hes on about cause why would everyone that owns a skyline lock it out your thoughts please

Lock it out if you dont want it, some ppl like it, others dont like a computer controlling whats about to happen, I prefer it gone even though I liked it 90% of the time, it was that 10% that put me off.

id agree with this. its good in places but a hinderance in others. because im looking at handling and performance due to wanting to see a lot of track days, mine is getting removed. i already have a lock bar. just need to time to fit it and remove all the plumbing etc. (weight saving of around 20kgs)

the rear end is still adjustable after its been removed anyways.

what chews your tyres out more is not having the right camber. if the car is lowered it generally scrubs the insides of the tyres out.

So waht are the options avaliable to stop the scrubbing?

I have front castor arms installed but i dont think these adjust the camber.(they replaced the factory urethane bushes) Are the arms on a 32 camber adjustable?If not what are the adjustable ones worth these days?cheers
