Hey guys,

I have an RB20DET and I recently made 145.1rwkw with a 3" exhaust, pod and a small FMIC (on 14psi). Where do I go from here? Been searching but can't really find much on it.

I want to be reaching around the 200rwkw mark.

Would injectors, fuel pump, bigger turbo (what type? would a stock RB25DET or RB30ET turbo be capable of this power?) and a bigger FMIC get me there or is there more work to do than just that? What do I begin with!

Thanks.

but if your getting a new turbo, e.g. r33/34 turbo or a 2530 youll wanna get it remapped after youve installed the new turbo

Bigger FMIC won't help for that sorta power, keep the one u got.

Rb25det engine swap will set you back more than making your rb20det hit 200rwkw with mods

a rb25 with minor mods will make 200kw on the stock turbo. it would just need full exhaust, fmic, more boost and an ecu/piggyback.

He clearly states in his original post that he has an RB20, not an RB25.

Standard tricks, in rough order.

1. Exhaust - Turbo Back - 3+in is nice plz.

2. FMIC

3. Fuel Pump (Bosch 040/044)

4. Injectors

5. AFM

6. Aftermarket ECU + TUNE (seriously, ALWAYS get them tuned, don't be a tightass, just do it - you'll be a much happier man).

7. Think about Turbo etc...
