Just the engine? Or more of the driveline? I don't know the answer but am interested to know what would be involved...

a full stagea front cut would be able to f**k with, but i doubt anything beyond the engine and front diff would be useful.

stagea engine would be worth shit-f**k-all and the rest of the gear out of a half cut is useless to a GTS4 owner. You can buy em for just about the same price as a regular RB25DET.... hence why I was looking at the conversion.

think about it... if you can LAND a stagea for $7000 now, imagine how much 1/3rd of its worth.

The conversion itself isn't that hard. If you have a manual GTS4 all you do is change the ECU to something like a wolf to work with the engine, the rest of the gear bolts up. You also need to change the final gear ratio of the gearbox and the rear diff ratio to match the engine, or change the diff in the engine to the GTS4 one (much better solution since the auto Stagea has a god awful diff ratio).

Personally I decided against it after driving my GTS4 with a HKS2530 strapped onto the RB20 And if I get bored I'll just stroke the RB20 to an RB24 using an off the shelf kit. Engine management is so much easier that way.
