Are these site trust worthy and is it in australian dollars cauz the prices seem too good to be true.

not sure about greenline, but nengun is in aussie dollars and i've bought a fair few things from them, so yes they are trustworthy :nuke: sometimes they take awhile to send the goods, but they are generally good with email responses, and their prices are the cheapest i've seen! :)

just a quick question about the safc2; i was reading that they can display boost pressure so could it be used as an accurate boost gauge?

im looking at getting one from negun also, how many people are looking at getting one? should do a group buy :(

from what i have read on this site i think that the safc is realy only any good if you dont plan on modding your car to much. they wont run much bigger injectors so if you are thinkng of upgradeing your turbo later dont bother as you will need injectors as well. the reason you see so many for sale again is because they have there limits that are passed quite quickly. but they are a good unit.

another cheaper option is to get one of the Jaycar digital fuel adjuster kits.. these are exactly the same and will do the same job if not slightly better. the jaycar unit has more load points than the apexi across the board but the later moddle safc2 has a full throttle setting which is said to be pretty handy. there was a group buy on these recently and the unit plus hand controler was selling for around the $100. for the DIY king well worth it.

here is a link to some more info. there is a lot of reading but most of it is on the boost controler so scim over that and have a read of the DFC.

this is correct, ive got one installed and now ive reached my power limits with my new aftermarket turbo and now need to get a power fc, fuel pump and injectors to achieve more power..

wont help too much on economy as it is tuned to decrease fuel ratios at over 60% throttle, and most of the time u drive the car at under that percentage.. this is how its tuned on mine anyways, depends on wat kind of tune u get..

either way, i was happy with it so far, increased a bit of power and overall performance, but like i said its limited to wat i want to achieve thats why im goin to be selling it soon and purchasing either a power fc or microtech..

They are definatly worht it. I had mine tuned this morning, First run 147rwkw with map all over the place. Then we played arround with fuel pressure and got it up to 165rwKw and a good place to start, 3 hours later managed to get a peak of [email protected] psi BUT massive spikes as the boost controller could not do it's job. So backed off to about 10psi and amanaged a nice [email protected] psi.

THE SAFC II made a hudge differance, and littel by little the power came up SO i think for $350 plus tunning, well worth the money.

Mods are, SAFC II, FMIC, Dump and exhaust 3", HKS pod, bleed valve boost controller, FPR, and a new pump, mine died.

here is the proof, as you can see the boost sux.

so it a worthwhile mod then? whats the average power gain using the safc2? seems some people get 10kw and other 30-40kw.

depends on ur other mods, eg intercooler, POD, exhaust systems, turbo upgrades etc.

does the safc2 display boost and is it accerate?

no it doesnt display boost pressure..
