Cannonball Run - Australia

Well,

As i'm currently watching the Cannonball 2004 Europe, I just looked up and they are actually running the Cannonball Run in Australia - around May 2007..

Goto say - pretty expensive.. $10,000 per car (1 car = 2 people).. Includes all accomodation... all entry to parties..

Looks awesome from the Europe one, however aussie police are not gonna let much slide i'm sure.. Def have to go and watch it when they start if they head through Sydney..

Anyone thought about entering it??

I'm starting to watch the 2006 eps now (up to ep2)

Last years was pretty funny, and Jackass covered a previous year.

I'd be pretty interested to see it over here in 2007... i'm sure someone with an R34 GTR V-spec II can represent! ;o)

no.. I agree... Unless it's on a stretch of dirt road in NT where there are no speed limits, and no-one else to harm.

It would be funny though! They can do Parramatta Road or Pittwater Road on the Northside.

The wheels and shocks will fall of the cars, and they'll never make it through two sets of lights at a time. Then they have our tougher, more restrictive police force to recken with. Hello 40km/hr school zones!

The main reason I wouldn't do a cannonball run in Aus is that everyone else on the road is farked.
