Hi guys,

This morning, for some reason, i decided to check my oil level and to my suprize the oil was right at the minimum level. So i started the car for about a minute, check the oil again, level went up a tad. So i went straight away to my mechanic, and said the oil has gone down (service was only done 2 weeks ago)..

there were no leaks and no signs of oil burning either. Had compression test and leak-down test last week, all with good results.

so when i got to the workshop (10mins later), checked the oil, level was full, exactly spot on, on the full line.

ok now the question..: is this normal for r33 gtst? if not, what could be possible reasons??

thanks.

agreed... the oil level goes up in the dipstic when left over night.

to check, put on level ground. start engine for a little wile letting the oil work around. leave for a half to a min and then pull out dipstick. wipe clean and then in all the way and out and check

cool thanks guys, i will check this in few hours time and see how it is.

cheers

yeh i checked in the morning, everything seemed to be ok.. check it at the same place as it was parked yesterday.

maybe the dipstick wasnt completely in.

thanks for da help anyway

cheers
