Hello everyone out ther is SKyline land.

I have an idea about an event to be held. I know that you guys have had it in the past, but perhaps it's time to have another one.

DYno day. I've been to a few with my friends car club and perhaps it might be good to start to get a regular one going.

Would be great opportunity to, get members signed up, have a BBQ and generally just get to meet everyone and have a nice relaxing day, seeing how many ponies our cars put out.

Just an idea for people to chew the fat over.

Does anyone know of any good Dyno places that may be a bit friendly towards a big group of us.

I'm from the Central Coast so the facilities are pretty limited, and I think that everyone would prefer a closer venue.

Good idea !! I just got my car back from Hill after new Fuel Reg, New Pump and new ECU map - Wanna compare to last time :D

I'm in - Unigroup are good !! BBQ is good - all proceeds go to B-Man's Electronic Boost controller fund !! Or maybe we can convince the SAU board to make it an official SAU day ??

Cheers,

God I hate dyno days at Unigroup.

Biggest waste of time EVER... They don't seem to understand the idea of a dyno day... It literally takes them about 30 mins to do each car, which means you stand around for AGES all day just waiting to see a few cars run...

A dyno day isn't meant to be a full discussion on what mods you've done, and how your car could be improved, and what mods they would suggest, and basically a general chit-chat for 30 mins... YOU GET THE CAR ON, YOU RUN IT 2 or 3 TIMES, THEN YOU TAKE YOUR CAR OFF... NEXT!

10 mins maximum. Can I suggest CRD or C&V for dyno days? They seem to run them much more efficiently.

edit: plus both CRD and C&V have 4WD dynos to cater for our GTR owners

Yep cool! I'm up for a dyno day.

I've only got a stock auto, but hey, what the hell... :Paranoid:

And as Endorean said, It'll be a good chance to meet some more of you guys and hopefully (finally) become a member of SAU! :headbang:
