Gps Car Security

ive heard mention of car security where you pay an annual fee and of your car is stolen they can detec where the car is via GPS within say 10 metres.

Of course you need the GPS tracking installed into your car, but does anyone have any info on these?

Does think effect your insurance at all ?

Quiktrak doesn't use GPS, it uses RF triangulation

Their home page is titled "GPS Vehicle Tracking"

Seems a bit misleading if that's the case.

Probably using GSM (or assisted GPS) for the anti-theft and GPS for fleet tracking.
