Hi I was wondering if low 12 sec qtr mile passes are possible with the stock turbos that come on the rb25's?

What are the best times you guys have got using the stock turbos and what other mods?

i think i high 12's 1/4mile is achieveable if you can drive...

i was running 13.8 @ 106mph with not alot of power.

on that night a wrx with the same mph, was running 13.1 and i know of a soarer that has run 12.9 with 108mph...

so if you can get your car off the line and have good gear changes, a high 12 is do able :O

good luck :spank:

Its definately possible but has to be a perfect run. I ran many low 13's, 13.0,13.1 and then 12.98@107. That was with street tyres and even a SAFC and no PFC.

hi can you tell me all the mods you had when you did the 12 and the boost

  • 4 months later...

Would an R34 GTT with the following mods -

Split dump / front pipe

Metal high flow cat

3" cat back exhaust

Apexi filter

and running stock turbo at 11 to 12psi

Decent 225 street tyres

- and some good driving be able to get a 13.0 sec pass? Also would getting a GReddy E-Manage Ulimate and a good tune with the mods above push the car into the high 12's??

Ta ;)

There is no reason you cant get 13.0 or close to it.

It comes down to driver skill/car setup.

More runs you have, more expirience you'll get.

Although 225's are a little skinny, but its just practice

You didnt have 208rwkw ;) Not with 103mph at least anyhow.

With 220rwkw i was doing 109mph 12.9 (not stock turbo) with 2.2 60ft's.

Your 60ft isnt too bad for street tyres, maybe you missed a gear or something? If you didnt... then the car just doesnt have the power the dyno reads IMO.

13.5 is still a good effort though with 103mph for whatever power the car has

R33 RB25DET standard turbo running 10 PSI full 3 inch exhaust, pod filter, just jap front mount, running on 19/30/265 Nankangs atleast 50% worn (on the inside anyways)

13.648 @ 165.14 K/mh roughly 102MPH
